Our Buying Strategy
Allianz Real Estate invests globally in direct and indirect real estate products.
Our key investment criteria:
- Direct Investments in high quality office and retail centers in major locations throughout the Euro zone. In particular, "core/core+" with lot sizes in excess of 50 -100 million Euros
- Aim to grow the portfolio through JV's and co-investment opportunities with other market leaders in their respective market or asset class
- Risk diversification and performance improvement through senior debt investments and taking preferred equity positions in real estate
- Fund investments in specialist asset classes (logistics, senior housing)
Direct investments are processed by the international subsidiaries.
